Our History – Formerly Axis Corp. and Logan Handler
The Logan Vault Handler, first produced in 1958 by Logan Fabricators in Bellefontaine, Ohio, marked the beginning of the company’s legacy in the cemetery equipment market. In 1979, the company was acquired and rebranded as Axis Corporation, expanding its reach in the cemetery market and into other specialized machinery.
In 1983, Thomas Oldiges purchased the company, and under his leadership, the Logan Vault Handler became the industry standard, with units shipped nationwide. After Thomas retired in 2003, his children, Matt and Linda, took over the business, expanding the product line to include the PathTrack, Crane Models, Monument Handlers, and the TruckHoe.
In 2023, Axis Corporation was acquired by Blue Skies Operating Corp. and rebranded as TruRebel, with
operations relocated to Sidney, Ohio. Today, Matt Oldiges continues to lead the company as general manager, following Linda’s retirement.
About Blue Skies Operating Corp.
Founded in 2019 by CEO Chuck Pisciotta, Blue Skies was built on the belief in the strength of Midwestern workers and homegrown engineering talent. His vision was to bring together a group of dreamers (and investors) who believed in the power of the Midwestern worker, the pride of homegrown engineering talent, and the power of scaling several well-run companies.

Blue Skies positions well-run companies for faster growth by focusing on organizational structure, targeting key people, creating operational synergies with other businesses in the portfolio using a shared services approach, and using value-added investors. In addition to TruRebel, Blue Skies also owns Valence Industrial, a custom fabricator with factories in Sidney, Ohio, and Lexington, Kentucky.
